Lots of news about Iran and Iraq these days.  Many Americans suppose that Tehran is a small village in the desert. It is a actually a modern city about the size of Chicago. The same Americans do not seem to know that the Mesopotamians dreamed up bible stories three thousand years before Moses and those other dudes in the good book.

The Mesopotamians are believed to have invented money as an exchange medium, developed some service institutions like police departments and a lot of positive social concepts that still work when accepted by the inhabitants.

Here is the place where I live.  It is a unique place not at all like most of the other parts of my country. Florida is not all about Disney World and all the other tourist traps.  It is a lot more than that.....and less as well.

Reasons to run away from Florida: Hurricanes, lightning, crocodiles, alligators, sinkholes, Donald Trump, other Trump family members, Ron DeSantis, Pam Bondi, long lines at Disney World.

But, I spent a little time in Saint Augustine once - thoroughly delightful! Key West ain't half bad, either.
