Today I am cracking up from the Chester Cheetah commericals and wish I had that guy around.  The current one with the mom bragging on her kid at the soccer field is good, Chester says "blah, blah, blah".  I like the one in the laundry mat too when he tells that girls to put some cheetos in the mean girl's dryer:)  Oh, wish those puppies were on youtube:)[attachment=0:1zkuypwb]chester.gif[/attachment:1zkuypwb]

Quote from: "Ihateyoumike"Did anyone see Hugh Laurie on Saturday Night Live a few weeks back? That was hilarious! They had a skit where there are two women with thick New York accents interview him and make him say a bunch of words in his accent and go crazy over it. It makes me laugh so hard every time I see it.
Family Guy is also a great show, although I think it's really hit-or-miss lately on whether it will be really funny or not.

Has anybody here seen "Arrested Development" which was on Fox for about 3 years and ended a couple years back? One of the funniest shows ever! It was a shame that it was pulled.

No, haven't watched SNL in a while, but I'll bet Laurie was funny. I haven't really seen him in many things other than some clips of British comdey shows and Sense & Sensibility, though I did recently notice that he was in Stuart Little and thought it was so surreal to see him playing this super-nice Dad character.

Yeah, Family Guy is always good for a laugh, but it has become more hit-or-miss lately. Also, I recenlty came to the conclusion that I just don't care about any of the characters (it's just that type of show, all of the characters are jerks most of the time, which is funny but there isn't much "human connection") like I do, say, the Simpsons. Kind of funny how in the Simpons' early days it was considered the "anti-family" show, now they're like the Cleavers in comparison to a lot of newer shows.

"Arrested Development" was hilarious! I only got to see a couple of episodes when it was on, it's on my list of DVD's to get.
How big is the smallest fish in the pond? You catch one hundred fishes, all
of which are greater than six inches. Does this evidence support the hypothesis
that no fish in the pond is much less than six inches long? Not if your
net can’t catch smaller fish. -Nick Bostrom

So, remember that poster I was doing? Finished it, printed out an 84" tall print, and hung it in the stairwell. I took a picture with my phone:

My work computer hates me for this, haha.

Today I am thinking of the ugliest dog I saw yesterday. It has to be the ugliest dog in human history. Haven't been around all the time when history happend to us, but if I had, this would be the ugliest one. For a sense of balance I should say it had a nice collar.
Science has yet I am sure left to determent the race and even more interesting the origin of this creature.

It is impossible to use mere words to describe it. It was brown if it helps.

I stand corrected. There is an uglier dog out there. I saw this one in real life if it count for something

Today I am thinking about the Dog Whisperer and how the show is a bit boring but boy he is something!  That is definitely my dream job, to just run around and teach people how they are screwing up their companion animals:)  Sure makes me wish the lotto would payoff.

Now I am thinking about how much of my thoughts are derived from the tv....better get back into my book for a bit.

I just got back from the Netherlands. My brother's girlfriend had her 50st birthday yesterday and the party lasted till 4 AM. Can't remember the last time that I managed to drink 3 liters of beer and a 3/4 bottle of Bowmore on one evening without being completely smashed.

4 AM??  I haven't done that since I was 22!  Way to bring in the 5-0!!  And good for you, that's called pacing yourself,  :D .

I'm excited because I made my first animated gif. It's now my avatar. Was not as hard as I thought it would be using photoshop. Anyway, if anyone can't tell, it says Patrick. It is called an ambigram, and I learned about them after I read Dan Brown's Angels and Demons. A couple of years ago, I was bored and decided to try to make an ambigram of my first name. That picture is what I came up with. I have been wanting to make an avatar of it for a long time, and decided I was just bored enough today to do it.  :banna:
