The one with melted clocks reminded me of American McGee's Alice, which was a really fun horror video game back in the days when they made games fun and The Asmo was all naive and fun-loving.

Lots of news about Iran and Iraq these days.  Many Americans suppose that Tehran is a small village in the desert. It is a actually a modern city about the size of Chicago. The same Americans do not seem to know that the Mesopotamians dreamed up bible stories three thousand years before Moses and those other dudes in the good book.

The Mesopotamians are believed to have invented money as an exchange medium, developed some service institutions like police departments and a lot of positive social concepts that still work when accepted by the inhabitants.
