No more summer vacation for The Asmo, and with the upcoming job change, probably no more vacation of any kind for like a year.

At least it stayed warm and sunny for most of it.

Our ranks have grown thin.  We have only a dozen or so persons who post messages or other items. It has been several days since anyone has had anything to say.

Here's hoping that none of you  have been captured by the U.S. Trumpian ICE people.

I have a set of sites that I rotate through during the day, and 4/10 I can't get in here; the rest are "no new posts". Probably 10 visits per day.

Eh, not as chatty here. The more chatty ones have mostly scarpered. Clearly I've never counted myself in that number, and have been toiling in the sun these past few weeks so less energy to natter here.

I pay attention to politics but try not to post about that except as it intersecta with the basis of this place (see the Dominionist thread). However, maybe worth more comment as the US slouches toward abject obeisance to a decaying demagogue with fantasies of monarchy. Gild everything that doesn't move!
