Buddy

I was questioning that myself, but I don't know. One think I do know, however, is that I am never taking that alley shortcut ever again.

Totally off topic, but having reached my 100th post and in interst of full disclosure, I've updated my avatar to show I'm not a puppy any more.

Congrats on your 100th post, techno!

I keep forgetting I changed the notification sound on my phone to the TARDIS materializing.  I keep looking around for spaceships every time I get an email or text, and then am disappointed when none appear.  :P

Oh no that's a bad move, you should have stuck with the puppy.
You get away with heaps more if you have a cutesy avatar.
I used to get away with a lot just with my charming picture but after a while people started saying "that Pudding is annoying, even if he is disturbingly attractive."  So I added the hat and changed it now and then and people were saying "ye Pudding is annoying but he so devilishly stylish."  Of late though my posts have been pushing the limits of forbearance so I've added my adorable hippo.  I don't think people read my posts now, they just say hello to my Hippo which is fine.  If people start objecting again I thought I might add an ice cream, or two probably.

OldGit

Seems to me Budhorse had a lucky escape there.  Good dog!  Techno, I'm afraid I can't say I'm entirely in favour of the new hat - if Bh posted a picture of Athena, maybe you could upgrade your av to that?

technolud

Yes its true, the hat is not stylen as well as The Magic Pudding's, but he was in my truck, sitting behind my steering wheel and he wouldn't move.  Figured he needed to be wearing my hat a well.

Today is the great shearing day.  Amazingly the dog doesn't shed, no hair in the house.  Never had that characteristic in a dog before.  Very desireable.

Wow, have I got a story for you guys!

I was walking my Doberman in town today, which is something I usually don't do but I needed to pick an order up from the bookstore. Well as we were walking home this guy comes out of an alley with a knife and proceeds to demand my money. Having just paid for my order I had only roughly a dollar. Well, the dude took another step towards me and Athena (doberman) started growling and lunged at the guy ready to rip him a new one. Guy took off. I ran into the nearest store and called the police and my mother. I just can't stop thinking about how lucky I was that I had Athena with me. I have now fully forgiven her for the whole face biting incident.

Sally sheds and Katie needs clipping. And as you say non-sheding is an excellent characteristics in a domestic dog.

Ho shit, budhorse.  Glad to hear you're okay!  If there's one thing a Doberman is, it's protective.  My mom's Dobie is dumber than a sack of hammers and generally sweet, but he'd rip your face off if you tried to go after someone in the family.

But really...who the fuck picks the person walking a Doberman to try to mug?  World's dumbest criminals fodder, for sure.

Proper muppet, that one.

Give that dober a steak.

Bummed. The house Mom, Brother and I have been renting since October has a mold problem. That's why I have been sick these last few weeks. Got it cleaned out, but it is only temporary. The house will eventually need to be stripped down to the beams. We'll have to move out by October. It's not that I am attached to the house at all, I actually pretty much hate it. No heat, no air conditioning, no insulation or shade from trees. Plus, the electricity is so old that running a hair dryer on full blows a fuse. I am mostly bummed because I am tired of moving. In the last six months only I have moved four times.

Hoping my paycheck comes tomorrow.
