At first I thought this was a sort of funny way of paying tribute to a great movie, but the more I've read about it the more it's made sense to me. Am I crazy or does this seem like a really attractive way of life? Be true to yourself and others, spend quality time with friends and don't let society get you all worked up over things that wouldn't otherwise matter to you. Abide.

I rate the Big Lebowski highly.
I don't know that Dudeism would benefit humanity.
Maybe weekend Dudeism would be OK.
I'd like to think a balance could be found between apathy and despair.
The environment movement promoted the think global act local mantra.
I think a reason for this was so people didn't get disheartened by insoluble problems.
I don't really admire people who don't care.

I dunno. I tried it for a while, but the white russians gave me stomach acid. Also, it turns out girls don't dig the dressing-gown/boxers look.

Oh and I was stoned. Alot. That bit was pretty cool I guess.

Hmm . . . seems to me that to spend any time thinking about whether or not Dudeism is a good philosophy would deny the basic tenant of the same Dudeism. I'm not sure how apathy can care about whether or not apathy is attractive?
