I hope CERN can keep that portal open for awhile, or open it at will -- if Trump wins in November, a few of us may be wanting to jump thru it.

–I say we wait. If they send us something ugly through this portal, we'll send them Trump. They're the ones who will be the victims of a "demon invasion!" 

Can you imagine being on the receiving end of Trump? We'd probably see daemons coming through seeking asylum.

That's because Trump will probably deport them from their own realm. 

Which is why I'd rather go thru the portal.  Keep Trump contained.

It's the bloody politicians and bean counters that will foul up your old age, science stands a better chance of improving it.

I'm glad I could calm your fears. ClaireLionTamer, a science teacher and respectably sensible member of the forum,  has visited CERN and the LHC. She knows a lot more about the science than I do and she's suitably sceptical about the woo merchants and their scaremongering.
