philosoraptor

I shit you not, he came to my door one night, eyes all blood shot with white powder all over his face, looking for his mother.  If my SO hadn't answered the door, I'm pretty sure he would've tried to kick it in-he was rattling all the doors in the hall way before he got to ours.

Quote from: "philosoraptor"There are laws against it here as well, but yeah, I'm not trying to start an asshole war.  It seems most of my neighbor's are assholes.  The guy upstairs is a crackhead with OCD-he never sleeps or works, and spends all day and night cleaning, moving furniture, stomping around, etc...  I'll take the dogs over him, actually.  He's nuts.
Talk about an opportunity! Make him a security guard and cleaner at an office block!

Hahaha.  Well, except crackheads aren't known for their trustworthy nature.  That office block might be missing all of its copper wiring in the course of a single night.  :upset:  I just knew there was a flaw in my idea  :sigh:

I don't know if it was crackheads specifically, but there was a group of jerkwads that broke into the drive-in where I work this winter and literally stripped every outside bit of wiring that could be found.  There is also an issue in my area with people's cars getting broken into, but not in the usual way.  Meth heads in the area are forcing open the hoods of cars and stealing batteries so they can turn them in for the core recycling refund, which is only like 8 bucks a battery.  It's insane, I've seen jittery scary looking dudes walking down the street with a car battery under each arm and big, toothless grin.

If any of those guys came knocking on my door looking for their mom, I would be super freaked out!

Sounds like my neighbors. One of them came to my door trying to sell me a used steak. It wasn't cooked or anything - it was still in the package... mostly, but it still looked as though it had been used for something. Like chocking a tire or something like that.

Uh...wow.  Your neighbors must be special.  :raised:

Man, when I used to smoke the tweakers in the area used to do that all the time!  And if we didn't replace the butt can quickly enough, they'd replace it for us!  If they replaced the butt can right away I wouldn't even have minded, really, but it was super annoying to go out for my first smoke of the day only to realize that there's no place to put it!

I'm moving in 19 days. I have a job. My wife has a job. We found a place to live. And with my moving bonus I bought her a computer, an iPod, and just now got tickets to the Blue October concerts in Seattle and Portland in late September as a surprise for our anniversary. She has no idea!!

And, there's possible t-storms tonight and I love when there is electricity in the air.

That all sounds very good news!
