Memory quote for my thesis (Please vote!)

I've started writing my thesis and would like to add a quote on memory to the first page. Please vote for up to two options, and if you know of any cool (but serious, no place for silly! ) quotes please let me know.

Yeah, I suspect that will be the case.   I went through hundreds of quotes before choosing these 5.
