Red snapper fish tacos with coleslaw, and a couple of glasses of cab.

Snapper tacos! Never even occurred to me, and as much as I like snapper and fish tacos, I wonder why. I'm gonna have it for dinner on Friday (only because I'm shopping at CostCo on Friday, and that's where I'll buy it). Yummay!

Red snapper from the Texas gulf (Gulf of Mexico) is SO good.

I imagine red snapper is much like halibut? I've only had halibut tacos, and they are one of my favorites! Don't think I've ever had the pleasure of red snapper...

Made some Gazpacho last night.......It needs to be refrigerated over night to let all the ingredients meld together for a unique taste sensation. Yummy if you are into that sort of ultra basic cuisine.   Making some sopa de garbanzo (Spanish bean soup) today. I'll have some of it tomorrow along with  authentic Cuban bread.

The roast beef of old England cooked to tissue paper by Mr M accompanied by Yorkshire pudding, leeks, carrots and crisp roast potatoes. A rich gravy to go with it. Mmm

I had a kick ass food day.

Breakfast was oatmeal with apples from the orchard down the road, raw pumpkin seeds, cinnamon and brown sugar.

Early dinner was venison steak with home grown seasoned red potatoes and fried okra.

And I've been gorging myself on homemade cranberry crumble all evening, featuring cranberries also from the orchard down the road.

I don't remember what I had for breakfast and lunch today, but for dinner I had loads of mayonnaise. Bread, some lettuce, a slice of tomato and some meat (I think?) came as a bonus.

McDonald's.
