Found a man unresponsive about a mile and a half off the road whilst bikejoring this morning. Probably a homeless junky. I feel like crap for calling it in what with our horrible system for homeless/addicts, but if you don't respond to greetings and don't even flinch when a Malinois tackles your feet, I'm not gonna be the one that shakes you and I'm not gonna live with myself if you're found dead later that day.
You did the right thing.

W10 is fine.

Today I saw the orthopedist for the first time since surgery. Monday I go back to work, although I will be continuing physical therapy twice a week.

Me neither, since I'm not using it ;).

Yes; I'm about to go and vote for out.

I just don't know enough to take sides. On one hand, I'd like to welcome Britain into that same club to which Norway belongs today... On the other hand, I see the potential for some nasty ripple effect for all involved.

It must be said, I did enjoy the song on Last Week Tonight about the subject:

EDIT: The video is restricted to YT only, so I'll just link to it.

Everybody loves that song, tho I'm not sure it does me much good to go around singing "Poland is depressing and there's vampires in Romania" under my breath in public.

You fly with those things? Checked in, I take it?  :???:

...Or I may need to learn your secret, just in case.  ;D

...And don't let the secret par of it be "Them's be plastic" or some such nonsense.  >:(

How the fuck did you get them on an aircraft?

Those members old enough to remember my travelogue from back then might recall that the journey that brought me to Ali was a road trip.  8)

As for flying home I obviously had them in checked luggage.

And no, Asmo. They are steel. Obviously.

It is a good thing. Most of the time I've been off work, I have enjoyed it. It was nice not to do much while I was healing. However, I am getting restless, so it is time to go back. Besides, if I return and find that I am not up to it, I can contact the doctor so he can rescind my clearance to return to work.

Excellent!

Too bad about there not being a story behind smuggling those onto an aircraft, but... Big steel claws. There is something approval-worthy about that.

"Spain is far too hot and where the fuck is Lithuania?!"  ;D

...Probably better than publicly singing under your breath about eating spotted dicks.

EDIT: Combined responses.
