I recently dealt with an irate client, which is not unusual... However this irate client was very insistent that the 10 month old, intact female dog in question was ABSOLUTELY NOT in heat, but suffering severe vaginal trauma after being kicked in an accident on a wet floor. The client believes severe swelling and a persistently bleeding wound to the genitals was caused by their toenail.

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THIS PERSONS TOENAILS?!
You should have asked to see them  ;D

Bring a male dog near.  That should convince the owner.

Why doesn't she want to accept the obvious, anyway?

Pasta Chick

I'd be afraid to see them.

I mean...

????

Except they were wearing shoes...

The problem with the male dog solution is that invariably a person like this will become convinced that it's just -that- male dog that is a fucking lunatic and tried to rape their poor injured baby.

Those are sexy toes, I mean you can just feeeeeeel them raking down your back can't you?

I wonder what she'll think when her dog suddenly shows up pregnant and she has a litter of unwanted puppies to deal with.

I feel like it'd go down sorta like that guy who tried to sue a hotel because his perfect virginal daughter got pregnant after one of their employees jerked off in the pool.

It's been all crazy lately. There was someone whose pet had "microscopic organisms" in their mouth, and the owner knew because the owner could feel them crawling around biting their ears. They made an appointment the day before and then showed up at a random time claiming they'd had an appt at this time for weeks.

I sort of feel bad, in the latter case especially, because it seems very likely these people are not all there... But at the same time they're being complete assholes. Which puts me in a tough position, knowing from my grandfather who has Parkinson's that arguing with someone who legit not able to remember what just happened generally makes things worse... But also they're being a fucking asshole.

Nails like that are more likely to sink it, I think.  ::)

One, I just got to know (Axing for a friend here at HAF) are those your feet PC?

Second, the big toes are really round, I mean they're practically circular in shape!

I saw the post about swelling and non-stop bleeding coming from a toe wound, and I immediately thought of "toe maggots." Which brings up some lovely images on google's image search.
Always question all authorities because the authority you don't question is the most dangerous... except me, never question me.

Pasta Chick

They are not my feet; I would never paint my nails.

I used to, but it rots your nails off which is super gross.

Buddy

Huh, I wonder if that only applies to toenails because my fingernails haven't been bare in years and they are still healthy.

My toes always got it worse, but my fingernails will flake away too. I tried all sorts of different base coats trying to fix it but it just got worse. I know a lot of people who do just keep a full mani/pedi all the time because their nails are now too gross to go without.

Yeah, I can see that. With my nails they flake and chip if I don't keep them painted. Bodies are weird
