Maybe you can get a cool tattoo with the £7 that you didn't return.  :P

Maybe I could. But it was £4.50 it would have cost me more money to return it.

Buddy

I found out there are apps for the iPad made for cats so I downloaded one. It's been about 45 minutes and my cat is still entertained by it.

I'm pretty sure normal 20 year olds go out instead of watching their cat play with virtual fish.

Egg on my face for calling the wrong name. Could have been that third shot of scotch. My feeble excuse is that all of you look alike on my computer screen.

Pasta Chick

It's the first Saturday of shotgun season, so I can't reasonably bike in the woods. Hurt my hip and can't run. Thus bored and killing time while BF catches up on ESO, and my poor under exercised dog bounces off the walls.

I tried hanging out in the dog groups, but all the woo and paranoia sent me over the edge. So I'm gonna bother y'all instead.

I live across the street from a christian church and lately they've been standing in the parking lot and singing/caroling for xmas and it's pissing me off. Like, you have an entire building to sing about your delusions for a reason. I'm trying to play video games. I don't want to hear your preachy shit.

Damn, this is my only day off until next Saturday. I'm so annoyed.  >:(

In true Saturnalia tradition, I suggest getting wasted and stumbling into the street naked to join them. If anyone hassles you, religious freedom! We can pick them one of them as sacrifice later, too.

Going to look at this car on Friday. Since I'm being forced to stay in the apartment I need a way to actually get to school. Hopefully I can find one soon, being without a vehicle sucks.

Rebuilt! Sound engine? Recent oil change! You must check the cooling water. If there is any sign of water (a sort of yellow soapy scum) in it whatsoever walk away. Ask when it was rebuilt, what was changed and why. If it was rebuilt less than 1k miles ago walk away. Ask to see receipts AFTER he has answered the questions. If the answers don't tie up with the documentation walk away. If he can't produce the receipts walk away. Check the tyres for uneven wear. If there is uneven wear walk away. If the tyres are in need of replacement knock him down by the cost of replacements. If he agrees to a lower price without haggling walk away.

Be prepared to walk away! Don't fall in love with it and sell it to yourself!

Oil/water emulsion scum. If there is oil in the water then the bearings will die and you'll need a new engine.

There was flooding last year, which is why the title says rebuilt. And it isn't the only car I've found so no worries about getting attached to it. I'll be taking my brother, who is good with foreign cars, with me so I will have a better idea about if it is worth actually buying.

Rebuilt because of flooding? Sounds like it may have gone underwater while running and bent a rod. That could indicate crank damage as well. Flood vehicles tend to have LOTS of problems. Another thing to check is the exhaust manifold - the thermal shock of being submerged often cracks them and it can be difficult to spot. Then again, that Mini may have a steel header instead of a manifold. Never messed with them so I can't say for sure.
