Thank you for asking.  She is doing better now, although as of this morning she was passing some of the most foul gas ever!  

Buddy, she had a really really upset tummy on Monday and Tuesday.   Monday she threw up several times, but was acting fine.  Tuesday she was spewing from both ends and was acting lethargic and shaking, so we took her to an ER vet.  

They put her on antibiotics and also injected some fluids into her system because she was dehydrated after being sick for two days.  She is still on special food to not upset her stomach, and still on antibiotics.  She seems fine now, other than the incredibly horrible gas.

I am glad the doggie is recovering, Ali.  I was worried that it might have been poisoned bait, but it seems not, now.

Asmo, you don't bite crown corks off.  That's silly.  You use your ear as a bottle-opener.

In the end, it was a pyrrhic victory for The Asmo, but a victory none the less.

I chipped my tooth on a beer bottle once. But that was from drunken incoordination.

I'm enjoying my Mother's Day today. I was given flowers, a nice sleep-in and breakfast-in-bed (followed by the rugrat promptly trying to steal my toast).

Awww DJ, that's lovely!  Happy Mother's Day to you.  T gave me some adorable handmade gifts when I went to the Mommy and Me lunch at his school, and Husband made him say Happy Mother's Day when he came and woke me up.  LOL  No breakfast in bed though!  Jealous!
