Yet you have infected those who have read this with the 'Farkle' meme... must... resist...

On my mind today, April 11...

My new book comes out! Wahoo!

Full of sacrilegious humor, my own mythology, angels, demons, Lucifer himself, and dirty sex.

Holy freaking shit!!!!!
I got kicked out of the local library and demonized by the entire community for requesting one of your books!!    :yay:

Heh, I play at writing, though I know I'm not nearly as good as a published author.  I get stressed I write, been stressed a lot lately.  One day I'll finish something and maybe send it out, maybe not, who knows.....  Reading fads change so often, my stuff may not be in vogue by the time I actually finish one and have the guts to submit.

Any way...........  On my mind right now..........  I have basset drool all over the couch... again.  I just tossed everyone outside to give me a break from the roughhousing.  Took me 10 minutes to find all the rawhides that got stashed during playtime.

Bored today. Took the dog out for a longer walk earlier in the rain which I quite like actually. Walked by a school which triggered my anxiety a little bit.
The world's what you create.

Quote from: "KDbeads"Heh, I play at writing, though I know I'm not nearly as good as a published author.

I actually also review for one of the romance review sites, and I gotta tell yah... there's nothing special about "published authors." I'd like to think otherwise, since I am obviously brilliant and everyone should read my work, but sadly, no, anyone and everyone can get published. Sadder still, anyone and everyone do get published.

So, having said that, if you write there's no reason to not explore publishing options. I just do it under a false name so my family won't crucify me for my subject material and the X-rated content.

On my mind right now...my new red crowntail Betta, which I named him Lucifer, keeps attacking the sides of his fishy bowl upon seeing his reflection. I changed his location once already so hopefully he'll realize he's not being stalked by another male Betta. Poor guy.

Oh, and I have the wiggins from the brown recluse I killed in the employee bathroom.

Was looking forward to a nice, relaxing evening watching season two of Sanctuary, but now I have a meeting from 7-9 to talk about a research proposal. And another one tomorrow from 5-7. More than half my day has been spent in meetings (not including the 7-9 tonight) and I didn't get to grab lunch.  :brick:

X-rated?  I need to get my hands on one of your books!  That's my favorite kind!

I kinda thought Lucifer wouldn't have a reflection.

Dear borkked 1999 Ford Escort,
I am poor. I need you to not cost me everything I have, because you are the only way I can get to work.

Gah' bless.

Heh heh. Well ---> http://www.rosalie-stanton.com/ There's my website. I do write naughty stuff. Not fearing Hell brings out my kink.

Nah. He's named after the Lucifer that appears in my Sinners and Saints series, who's totally laid back.

Yep, totally serious.  The goody two shoes women out here are morality police lol   Makes you wonder how they know what's in the books if they didn't read them   Especially the ones marked paranormal romance     And they sell them at WALMART!!!!  Just not here in town anywhere, we have to drive a half hour one way to buy something other than Louis L'Amour :verysad:

I'm just giddy you asked for one of mine alongside Kenyon. Wow.

I've read a lot of womens' romance novels, and yeah, some of them are...well, egads. I actually just read one called 'Forbidden' by Evangeline Anderson. It was angel-soulmates-separated-by-Lucifer, and placed into the bodies of siblings who had to resist the urge to fuck like mad. I'm NOT easy to squick, but that was like a train-wreck. It gave me the heebie-jeebies in the bad way.

KDbeads

I've tried reading a few of hers and I couldn't finish a couple of them.  They were just too much for my little mind :D

I read so many different authors/genres it's ridiculous, I usually can read about 6 or 7 of these 400 + page books a week when I'm feeling the need to read.

Hello Tuesday. Today the following is on my mind:

- Keeping our active son occupied until his nap so I can get my shower and have a cup of tea (ahhhh, tea)
- The latest Canadian election tom-foolery. I would really like if our Country didn't go down the crapper
- What should I have for lunch? I'm thinking a toasted avocado sandwich, but I'm flexible
"We've thought of life by analogy with a journey, with pilgrimage which had a serious purpose at the end, and the THING was to get to that end; success, or whatever it is, or maybe heaven after you're dead. But, we missed the point the whole way along; It was a musical thing and you were supposed to sing, or dance, while the music was being played.

I must confess I'm not a great fan of avocado, guacamole looks far to much like the result of a very bad cold
