Ha! I like that. There's a site called CafePress.com that will turn it into a bumper sticker for you.

Quote from: "Sheeplauncher"I've got one on my car that says: if your not an atheist, your not reading the bible properly. I assume someone will get really mad about this someday.

Please, please, please tell me that it says "you're" rather than "your."  Grammar skills = credibility in some circles.   :|

I see TONS of religious (99% of the time, Christian.) bumber stickers around here. Living in the Bible belt in Bumfuck Alabama, it's not surprising. Things like "I'm Hellproof. Are you?" "Jesus saves." and, of course, the Jesus fish everywhere.

So I've decided to advertise Atheism. I'm going to take some paint or a good bar of soap and draw on the rear window of my truck the evolving Jesus fish, like the Happy Atheist logo. Under it, I'm going to write

               EVOLVE

LOGIC OVERCOMES SUPERSTITION

Now, some redneck may want to trash my truck because of this, but that's ohkay. Says more about them than it does about me.

Also, I'm probably going to order a few of these.

I loved when Bush came out and said, "We are losing the war against drugs." You know what that implies? There's a war being fought, and the people on drugs are winning it.

Hope you have good insurance. My mom has a bunch of stickers on her car. One time some redneck tried to run her off the road, and then just last week her car got keyed.

I have full coverage on my 11 year-old Jeep, and I could really use the insurance money to help me buy a new truck...so of course nothing bad will ever happen to it.  :verysad:

And it's a bit truck. So if they try to run me off the road, they'd better be driving a hummer or a semi.

Ha! Typical Alabamian.  :P
Yeah I drive a Jeep so I like off-roading anyway. Being run off a paved road wouldn't really be that big of an obstacle for me. Especially since we don't really have any hills or cliffs down here in the Panhandle.

I don't think I  could stand a place without hills every few feet.

I kinda liked it...it was original.

The late genius George Carlin quoted a bumper sticker in a skit. It read: I found him, I have Jesus in the trunk.
I think that would be an appropriate attention grabber

Philosophy is questions that may never be answered. Religion is answers that may never be questioned.

There isn't much originality down here in southern Brazil, most bumper stickers say something like "god is faithful" (most common) or "god is my papa" (just not in those words) and Jesus fish. I've never seen a bumper sticker promoting atheism though.

There are a lot of pictures though. Mary enveloped by the beads catholics like to fiddle with, just the beads with no Mary inside and (my favourite) a saint/knight smiting a dragon.

Good thing voodoo themes don't make it onto car bumpers, even though voodoo is really practiced down here (even by the middle and higher classes of society) which is strange given that one would expect a lower correlation of primitive religions and practices such as animal sacrifices left on street corners with higher levels of education - but then again the educated segments are not that impressive, at least in a part of the local universities faculty. They probably like to feel safe and guaranteed from all corners, and if that means going into voodoo to get that extra feeling of having prayers answered then that is what they'll do. I don't know...the natives here are weird. But I'll stop now - going way off topic. :typehappy:

Those "Against gay marriage? Don't have one!" stickers make me chuckle, even though the logic is weak.
I also busted out laughing at a Fish 'N Chips decal; I hadn't seen that before! So awesome, as I love me some.

I would definitely be a bit hesitant to have any anti-religious or anti-bigoted moron stickers, despite my car being a seriously old, keyed up (not sure how), rusted, dinged piece of crap from years of expressway driving. Sad to say, but the confrontation by the people with the "IT'S A BABY, NOT A CHOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" stickers would make it not worth it.

I don't even bring my atheist literature to work for breaks.
