Hammock camping. I'm thinking about getting into it.

Yep.

What have they pulled apart?

Iago dragged a 10kg bag of dirt from inside, and both he and Joy tore the plastic open. They ate loads of dirt, as evidenced by their black poop the next morning.

I'm beginning to think he has some separation anxiety because when he isn't indoors (and lying near someone's feet) he whimpers and whines. The other night he was even howling after I put them outside to sleep. Joy on the other hand is okay with being left alone for long periods of time. When I leave them alone he usually engages in some mischief.
They seem to be healthy at least. :)

:smilenod:

They're healthy and happy. Iago is always wagging his tail.  ;D

I would be surprised if they don't settle in over the next month or so.

I'm not sure if in the next month or so. :notsure: I'm guessing maybe a year, heh.

How does that work?

You sleep in a hammock instead of a tent.  :D

Hah! Either way I'd end up on the ground, and one of them won't hurt as much.

Back when I was a leader with the BSA, I had a 1-1/4" thick Thermarest foam cushion for under my sleeping bag. I didn't care how much it weighed when back packing, it made sleeping a joy, with my elbows and knees not grinding into the hard-ass ground. The only better sleep I got was on Catalina Island in the '90s. We rolled out a huge tarp to keep from getting wet from the sand. I just squirmed until the sand conformed to my shape. Maybe I should buy sand and do that for a bed, instead of our Sleep Number bed.  :o It'd certainly be cheaper.

But...what about all the bugs?  :o

I'm damn tired, but relieved! I toiled over my research project for the past month or so, and have just sent it to be evaluated. I think I'll take the day off tomorrow, but wait...:chin:

...there are still 3 things on my to do list.   :'(

I prefer a more realistic approach to dealing with bugs.  ;D

I'm watching my Baylor Bears in the men's national championship in basketball.  They are ahead of Gonzaga right now.
