My husband visits me everyday, but I am still getting a bit homesick. I really miss my cats, even the things they do that annoy me, like wanting attention while I am trying to eat or waking me up so I can scratch their ears.

You could have your husband take pictures of the kitties every day and show them to you when he comes to visit.

That's what I made my mom do when I was at college. I got daily cat updates.  ;D

My husband just texted me a picture of our cat, Clyde lying on my side of the bed. He looked quite content. He is in for a rude awakening once I get home.  ;D

Awww, he's just keeping it nice and warm for you!  Dreaming of the day when you'll be back and snuggling with him again.

Drugs. Hopped up on all kinds of tasty drugs.  ;D

Yes, there are plenty of drugs. However, the goal is to eventually not need the drugs. The only bad thing is, one knee is fixed, but the other is going to need repair in a few years. Plus there is the damage to my other joints from the various and sundry dysfunctions. It is truly amazing, the number of ways the human body can get screwed up. Very poor desighn, if you ask me.

My roommate is a 92 year old stroke victim. She is having a very difficult time adjusting to accepting help and the lack of privacy that comes with being in the hospital. I would like to say something encouraging to her, but I get the impression that she would rather pretend those indignities do not exist.

I never thought I would have trouble trying to fit everything I want to say on just one page. I have to summarise half a dissertation and it's tough! The spacing between the lines is already 1.0 and size 12 (Times New Roman) is the minimum. :(

Nope, I should have mentioned that it has to be Times New Roman. :( I can't move the margins beyond 2,5 cm on all sides either.

Usually it's the other way round, all through high school I struggled to meet the minimum requirements when writing an essay or taking exams. :mb lol:
