Hey.. I didn't know for sure that you had actually removed the first one. I considered the possibility but dismissed it when I never received notification of the removal. As I was driving to work this morning, one of life's biggest mysteries presented itself to me.

A chicken was crossing the road. But why did he do it?

It was actually kind of funny. He was a little over halfway across when I saw him, and he looked really apprehensive. There was another chicken on the side that he just came from, really close to the pavement and watching the first chicken. As I got close, they got startled and first chicken ran back to the other side and then they both high tailed it back to their yard.

I just imagined this little chicken dialogue in my head, where one chicken dared the other one to cross the road.

"Bet you won't cross the road."
"I so would."
"Yeah right, you're such a chicken."
"Oh yeah? Well watch this."
"Oh shit, Frank. I can't believe you did it. What do you see over there??"
(giant shiny red growling behemoth approaches)
"Fuuuuuuuck!! Run away!! Go go go go go!!"
*panting* "OMG. Let's never leave the coop again."

And then they tell the rest of the chickens about their near death experience.

Whitney, I would hire you as a law enforcer.  

I actually would really suck as a cop...I don't like enforcing laws I don't agree with.  If I caught a kid with pot (for instance) I'd want to pretend I didn't see the stuff.

Me neither. I would just hope the kid knew what he was getting himself into, but in a society where drugs which cause even more harm (such as drinking) are legal, hypocrisy abounds.
