Keir Starmer

In keeping with the quick turnover of British prime ministers, Sir Keir Starmer has resigned today.
This follows local election defeats, U-turn after U-turn, and many resignations, making his position untenable.

His successor will be the 7th leader the UK has had in the last 10 years since the Brexit referendum.
This brings it in line with other collapsed European governments like Belgium and Italy.

Next PM is likely to be either Andy Burnham or Wes Streeting.
Neither has never lived in the real world of work, having left Cambridge University and gone straight into politics.
Both to the left of the Labour Party, the UK can expect tax and spend policies.

Would that my own Prime Minister resign. Problem is that he has shown repeatedly that does not have the mental capacity or common decency to relieve my country of his unimaginable stupidity.

What with Burnham now likely to be the new PM, the weather here today in Stratford-upon-Avon is burning, and the hottest day since 1976.

London is 40.2C right now or 104F

In London, Burnham became an MP only yesterday, and he's already setting the place on fire.
He will be toast by Christmas.

No thanks.

Starmer is/was a grey politician, "a pejorative or colloquial term for a drab, uncharismatic, and predictable mainstream politician who lacks bold vision."

His former chief of staff was Sue Gray, who was forced to resign.

Starmer's hair is also grey.

Latest to resign is Nigel Farage, leader of Reform Party and great friend of Donald Trump.
Allegedly for pocketing money from a convicted US fraudster.

Is it time to switch to a party which opposes "Mass immigration, economic collapse, woke ideology, and the relentless creep of radical Islam – everywhere you look, this country is in decline..."?
Quote from The Restore Britain Party, led by Rupert Lowe who had been thrown out of Reform.

At this rate there will soon be no politicians left.

He failed to report large donations from two different sources. When he's caught he claims that it's his opponents who're doing him dirty, as if he wouldn't be in trouble if it were his party in the majority.*

He may be correct about that and if so it means that his party is the party of corruption. Either that or he's saying something along the lines of "Look, the president of the United States is openly corrupt and that means corruption is no longer a problem. You people need to align yourselves with contemporary politics as I have."

*"The establishment has now decided that they can't beat us fairly... they have chosen to use foul means." -- Nigel Farage.
"Religion is fundamentally opposed to everything I hold in veneration — courage, clear thinking, honesty, fairness, and above all, love of the truth."
— H. L. Mencken

Burnham might take over as PM as early as next week.
He is expected to govern from Manchester.
He is  not elected by the public, or even his own party.
He will avoid the likes of Trump and Farage.

With Farage having resigned to fight again in his own constituency, he will have to beat Count Binface.

Quite probably the first political contest ever between a man and an alien is likely to take place in August.
