Chapeau to Rec. Cheers! He's one person, of whom above all others I find myself in any given situation asking "what would Recusant say?" because he always hits the nub of the nail cleanly into touch (where no single metaphore quite does his contributions justice).

And another thing, how many of us pronounce 'Recusant' wrong in our heads? The correct pronunciation is 'rec-yooz-unt', not 'rec-uss-unt'. Even though I know that, he'll always be 'rec-uss-unt' to me because I failed to do the correct research at the outset. And there's another compliment in there somewhere if you squint a bit.

I got it right. In portuguese (the way most Brazilians pronounce it - recusante) would be hec-ooz- unch so that probably was a positive influence. It's a nice word, I like it. Well chosen.

Please note that I always read your threads with much interest, even if I don't actually comment.

I haven't smoked cigars in years, as I gave the habit up some time ago, but if we were to meet I think I would certainly be up to lighting up a nice double corona with you.
