Not sure if anyone else posted this, but his son wrote this on Facebook:

QuoteUnfortunately dad had a minor heart attack earlier this week. He's doing fine but is still in hospital where he'll be for a little longer. My favourite bit so far was when a nurse asked his religion as apparently the NHS don't have check boxes for either "committed pastafarian" or "wildly, steadfastly and vocally atheist" but I think most of the staff are now aware of the great FSM...

Mummo is doing OK (though hasn't baked for DAYS) but pip dog is all a bit confused. Any messages let me know, I'll pass 'em on

Dammit OG you're going to make me log back into my old facebook now to send you a message!

On a serious note, when you're well enough to read this I hope the NHS treated you well :)

Oh my. Thanks for letting us know, Firebird. Not great news, but it's certainly good to hear that it was a minor event, and that he's receiving care and is doing well.  :whew:

Yes, I would like to mirror Recusant here, and I'm grateful he is recovering.
If anyone is posting well wishes on Facebook please extend my best to him.

Would like to add that it sounds like he has a wonderful son, good sense of humor like his Dad.

According to his son's post, he's already giving the nurses a hard time!

Has someone brought him whiskey and lemon yet?

Ecurb Noselrub

Best wishes and here's hope for a speedy recover.  You are in our thoughts, OG.

Yes, thanks for letting us know, Firebird.
OG, don't scare us like that!  :(
He needs whiskey and lemon intravenously. Don't the doctors know this?
Please get well soon, my friend.  :console:

I don't know you personally Old Git but I do make a living showing concern for those suffering mortal set backs. My professional and empathetic condolences to you and yours.
I doubt it!
