Not sure if anyone else posted this, but his son wrote this on Facebook:

Unfortunately dad had a minor heart attack earlier this week. He's doing fine but is still in hospital where he'll be for a little longer. My favourite bit so far was when a nurse asked his religion as apparently the NHS don't have check boxes for either "committed pastafarian" or "wildly, steadfastly and vocally atheist" but I think most of the staff are now aware of the great FSM...

Mummo is doing OK (though hasn't baked for DAYS) but pip dog is all a bit confused. Any messages let me know, I'll pass 'em on

Oh my. Thanks for letting us know, Firebird. Not great news, but it's certainly good to hear that it was a minor event, and that he's receiving care and is doing well.

Would like to add that it sounds like he has a wonderful son, good sense of humor like his Dad.
