A+. Though  24/30 seems low for that. I mostly bombed the first few and was certain I'd be too embarrassed to post my score here

There were a couple of educated guesses in that lot but I owe my high score mainly to my English teacher at school who used to regularly give us quizzes like that!

Alright, so everyone here whose taken the quiz has received an A+ so far? Hmmm.

(Except myself and Mags, and I was cold and a bit tired when I took it, as I had just come in from being outside on my bike for a couple hours, so my test results should be curved some I think)

Anyway, at this point it looks like Bud's in first place for the ladies, and Icarus is in first place for the men. I'll probably wait until the end of today to post the winning certificates, just in case there was someone who's interested in taking the quiz who didn't see it over the weekend.

Thank you Bruno....But......I doubt that I have earned first place for men because, as previously stated, a few of my answers were wild ass guesses that turned out to be the right answers. As much as I would like top dog status, that is profoundly
unlikely, considering the intellectual, linguistic, and  lexicographical capacities of some of our members.
