The despicable creep (convict president) and his shitbird administration have conjured a boogeyman to justify turning the security state apparatus on Americans. The Prarieland prosecutions were a test case, showing how a nascent fascist government can weaponize its mirage of a vast antifa organization through the criminal justice system. You handled some supposedly subversive zines? Thirty year prison sentence!

An expert of long experience in counterterrorism lays out the deeply dishonest basis of the Trump antifa boogeyman:

"The antifa terrorism threat the Trump administration describes does not exist" | The Conversation

QuoteThe State Department on July 16, 2026, hosted what officials billed as a ministerial on the resurgence of left-wing political terrorism.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio invited representatives from more than 60 countries to Washington to hear an argument that many of them appear not to believe: that a transnational far-left terrorist movement called antifa threatens the democratic world. At the event, allies were asked to mobilize against that enemy despite nations like the Netherlands and Germany politely noting to their host that they cannot find evidence of any such group.

Some intelligence analysts have declined to brief on antifa at interagency meetings because they do not regard it as a serious counterterrorism threat.

As a terrorism scholar who spent a decade running the State Department office that designates terrorist organizations, I understand their confusion. The threat the administration describes does not exist in the form the administration describes it.

As I and others have written before, antifa is not a group. It is a movement and an ideology, a loose commitment to opposing fascism. In its most organized form, it amounts to scattered local collectives like Rose City Antifa in Portland, Oregon.

There is no membership roll, no command hierarchy and no funding structure. There is no leader of antifa – the Trump administration has not named one – and there is no record of deadly attacks attributed to a U.S.-based organization called antifa.

Groups like the Islamic State group and al-Qaida have killed tens of thousands of people and have a documented chain of command. Antifa does not. You cannot decapitate a movement with no head, and you cannot sanction an organization that does not exist.

As such, the Trump administration created one.

Oy vey. The shambolic schmuck has decided that Canada needs to be punished for the smoke from their wildfires crossing the border. It's the same ridiculous and idiotic thing he was claiming about California a while back--that the wildfires are a result of mismanagement. I haven't heard whether he's using the exact same line claiming they aren't "sweeping the floor" of the forest, but it's essentially the same weaponized ignorance. He doesn't have the first clue about forest management. Meanwhile climate change is a hoax.

The demented buffoon's own attack dog prosecutor, "Box of Wine" Pirro, had to go to the White House and show him the evidence demonstrating that the botched Reflecting Pool job was indeed botched, and that "vandals" had nothing to do with it.

I think most people have known all along that it was shoddy work that caused the coating to peel up--it was pretty obvious from photos of pieces of that coating floating in the algae. He's got his tighty-whities in a bunch because Pirro wasn't willing to carry on with the prosecution given the facts of the case. His people should just deny facts the way he does all the time!

I suspect that Ms Pirro has enough sense to realize that her actions have consequences and she wants to stay on the right side of the law. She doesn't have that "get out of jail free" card that SCOTUS handed the chump.

Yes, there's the possibility that Hearn (the accused in this case) could have gone after her for false prosecution. If she'd gone to trial the judge would have thrown the case out, which arguably is more of a black eye for the administration than not pursuing the prosecution.

The convict president indicates he's warming to the idea of declaring a national emergency to federalize the upcoming election. At the link below the main article there is a "don't panic" message from an election law blog.

QuoteThere's no part of the Constitution or federal law that would give the President power to say how states run their mail ballot programs, voter id, etc.

As if such niceties mean anything to the decrepit wannabe dictator and his henchmen.

Not too different from sending ICE into blue cities. The irony is that the orange faced shitgoblin votes by mail, himself.

want a prediction? i have a prediction.

here is my prediction for the american midterm elections.

as he did in every election he's ever been involved with, trump is planning to accuse his opponents of stuffing ballot boxes, signing up invalid voters, hacking the election machines, discarding republican votes, and so on..

there are 83 days until election day. trump will prepare the country for this accusation with internet posts, media interviews, press releases, and talking sycophants, getting more intense and rallying his supporters in th econgress and in the populace as election day approaches.

on election night, not too late, while the election is in progress, trump will announce that he has discovered fraud. he will send in ICE or th enational guard to close polling places in democratic regions while people are still standing in line outside, he will forcibly confiscate voting machines and ballot boxes, and he will disrupt the election so thoroughly that it will have to be halted.

that will take the political confrontation out of the election process and into congress and the courts.. trump already has a congress who will support him and has enough of a majority in the supreme court that he can get much of what he wants there. and if he doesnt like the results of the legal procedures, he can do what he always does and simply ignore them.

by doing this, all the current republicans in congress stay in power indefinitely, and he can continue to work the chaos to his advantage.

trump will demand that the election be postponed until he can certify that it will be fair. it will never be certified.  if there is another election, trump will have his goons in every polling place and will supervise the ballots.

i could certainly be wrong about this, but nothing here seems very far-fetched anymore.
