the problem we have in the american system is that if the kooks take power, they can cause irreversble damage that cannot be undone by an alternative successor.

if trump drops the climate change satellites into the sea as he plans, they wont be there after he leaves office, for anybody. if you turn off the refrigerators that hold the biological samples for decades of research, theyre gone.

and if you burn the bridges for diplomatic relations with your allies, they will learn that a single election can screw it all up, and will be unwilling to risk a second debacle.

our government worked on th ehonor system, because we all thought we all agreed on the purposes of government. but it didnt protect against greed.

trump is just a visible figurehead. the real people pulling this show are the oligarchs that are devising a new world order with them in charge.

Today we are cut adrift from reality with the failure to agree on a new national budget.  So TSA people are required to work but are not being paid.  Same for National Guardsmen in Washington and elsewhere. Tens of thousands of government workers are out of a job and their sometimes critically important work will not be done.

Our house of representatives, the senate, and the white house are all republican controlled.  Much of the general public will believe that it is the fault of the Democrats.

This is his response to the No Kings demonstrations. As a display of unhinged megalomania and contempt for any who dare oppose that megalomania it will be hard to beat. In my opinion, those who would dismiss this as "just a bit of trolling" are deluding themselves.

If you watch the video you may note that the AI felon president isn't wearing the mask properly. Arguably even more stupid than those who refused to wear masks properly in the height of COVID.

  Good point, the exercise of corrupt autocratic power to attack people labelled as "enemies" is more significant.

So is ignoring the rights clearly enumerated in the US Constitution to kidnap people off the streets, from their homes, from churches, schools, and workplaces to disappear them into an impenetrable gulag (family has no idea where they are, let alone legal counsel) before shipping them off to random locations around the globe. 

So is tyrannically using military force domestically in an attempt to quash public dissent regardless of whether it's actually even remotely necessary.

So is using the elected position to enrich oneself personally to the tune of billions.

The madman has begun a suit asking for 230 million dollars,  He is suing his own Department of Justice for having investigated him during impeachment proceedings in the past.

The most egregious of his most recent machinations, is tearing down parts of the White House, the East Wing, so that he can build a grand ballroom.  Estimated price is 280 mil. It is a near certainty that costs will over run the estimate. Destruction of the East Wing is in progress even as I type this note.
