Yes.  Because leaving babies on the car roof is kind of an American tradition.  Have you heard the phrase "As American as apple pie?"  Well, there is a second lesser used phrase that goes "As American as driving around with your baby on the car roof."

Now, being British and all, you probably think this whole "baby on the car roof" thing is further proof that Americans are idiots, but really it just means that, as usual, you just don't get us.

It's training.  By the time our babies are teens, they are able to partake in the full tradition which goes like this:

1) Have a friend named "Styles" who wears "shades" and unbuttoned Hawaiian shirts all the time.
2) Grow way too much hair.
3) Crank "Surfin' USA"
4) Do back flips and handstands on top of moving vehicles
5) Throw in some serious air guitar for extra style points
