if there were no need for 'engineers from the quantum plenum' then we should not have any unanswered scientific questions.

Oh, Fernanda's poor old mum.  :o Do you mean 'only' fifteen days?  That seems rather a long time to me.

Yeah I was being rather sarcastic there. It could even be more than 15 days, depending on how many are in line. It sucks.

No, she'll have to wait at home. She's a bit nervous about it all because she prizes her independence but now she can barely walk without two people to help her. It's going to be a long 15 days, and a long month after that until she can walk again.

Well I sure hope it all works out.

I find the coquettish manner Bruno eats his bananas disturbing, so he isn't getting a spoon.
He can have a fork and eat his bananas in a respectable manner.
Oh and uncouth scratching of bum with HAF fork isn't allowed.

Are there links to Dawkins being a jerk?
I've read a couple of his books, watched a doco or two.
I've only ever seen him being a reasonable gentlemen.
I don't really care if he isn't a proper philosopher.

There are atheist assholes who admire Dawkins,
though I don't think they've actually decapitated anyone yet.

From what I've heard, read and seen, I can't remember Dawkins ever being nasty to any one. Blunt, yes, but not nasty. Beyond that, I'm a bit hazy on the precise definition of "jerk".

Jerk usually means unpleasant if I'm not mistaken.

Nono, that's "unpleasant". Different shades. Can't be ignored in context.

I'll vote for Dawkins being a jerk.  I'll have to dig up links though.  I'm thinking specifically of that time he told American women to sit down and shut up because women in the Middle East have it worse.
