I was going to say, "I know what you mean", I've spent time in Texas myself.

Bruno have you not seen those signs that say "don't mess with Texas" ?  Texans do not like to be lampooned.

Actually that was an appropriate saying that was supposedly originally used by Lady Bird Johnson who fostered an anti clutter campaign. It seems that Texan pickup truck drivers were and are prone to throw their Lone Star beer cans out the truck window onto the pristine Texas roads and Highways. Lady Bird also Caused junk yards to build sight barrier fences to protect the good and proper Texans from the ugly view of dead old Ford and Chevy trucks along with the occasional Studebaker..

Not that anyone's going to be surprised by me saying this, but snow on a beach is amazing.  My favorite part of growing up in New England beach towns was wandering desolate, frozen stretches of sand in the winter.  Because FSM knows the summer tourist season is horrific.

But I also totally understand.  Planning to get away somewhere warm and sunny and being deprived of the sunny warmth sucks.  Hopefully it's a quickly passing storm.

It's been almost 40 degrees here these days. Many have prayed for snow, but methinks it melted high up in the sky and instead we got rain. Even though we didn't get what we wanted I'm convinced that prayers work. It's infallible Gerry logic.
