I hate Daylight Savings Time.  I went to bed at 2am and woke up at 6am.  Why, Flying Spaghetti Monster?  Why?  :(

I'd like to know that too, esp. since not every state does it and I can't think of a single reason in the world why the rest shouldn't drop the practice.

We don't have to do it in Norway for another two weeks. And we always do it on a sunday, so most people can sleep in.

Cutting out caffeine cold turkey is a bitch. I slept for 14/24 hours yesterday! Feeling much better today.

I can sympathize. I've had to cut it out before too... the crash is just rotten. So are the headaches and the craving feelings!

I really didn't think I had been drinking that much, but I guess one extra-large coffee each morning is enough to screw you up! Feeling much better now. Lots of water. :)
"We've thought of life by analogy with a journey, with pilgrimage which had a serious purpose at the end, and the THING was to get to that end; success, or whatever it is, or maybe heaven after you're dead. But, we missed the point the whole way along; It was a musical thing and you were supposed to sing, or dance, while the music was being played.

DeterminedJuliet, have you decided on the ear piercing yet? I think I'm done with body modification so I'm going to live vicariously through you.  :)

Yep! I'm going to get the one I posted, the "forward Helix". In my left ear (I sleep on my right side, so it should expedite the healing process.) My birthday is in May, so it's going to be my birthday gift to myself - I don't want to risk the last minute need for a winter hat that might irritate a new piercing.

I have decided what colour stud I'd like, but when I get it done, I'll post a picture!  ;D

Hi All!  Back from Vegas.  I had a good trip and got to meet and work with a lot of people.  It was hectic though!  Starting on Monday, I had back to back meetings (including a working lunch meeting) from 7 am - 7 pm, grabbed a fast dinner, and then went to see the Jabbawockeez, then went out to the casinos and bars and stayed out until 3:00 am, then got back up at 6:30 to make a 7:30 meeting and start all over again.  Seriously, who schedules early morning meetings in Vegas?  But Pudding, you will be happy to know that I only lost a grand total of $20 while there.  I only gambled the first night and stopped once I was $20 down.  That was my limit.  I can't believe how much money people were spending on gambling!  I saw a guy lose $100 in about 20 seconds on a $25/spin slot machine.  Not I.  I'm so glad to be home though.  It was fun for about a minute, but I can't keep up that pace for more than a couple of days, plus I missed T like crazy while I was gone.

Yay! Glad to hear you had fun! I'm like that too, the city is fun for about 3 minutes, then I want to go home.  :D Did T miss you while you were gone?

Yes, I think he did. He crawled in bed with me as soon as he woke up this morning. Cuddles!

I like it, looks great!  :)

Ooooh, me too!  I'm assuming that's Vinnie?

Amicale, thanks!  It is great to be back!

Yup, that's Vinnie.

I'm so happy. The dress that I ordered for the LGBT prom that I'm going to came in the mail last night. It fits great and I feel good in it, which is a first. It's actually the first time I've ever worn a strapless dress haha. I also got a pretty matching headband and I have a pair of wedges that I've had forever that I love.
