Have you like... Screamed at the gas company..? Probably wouldn't make them move faster, but to the satisfaction of it, I think you are entitled.
We got another update in the post.  One street has now been turned back on, and they are taking it seriously, so I don't feel the need to shout at the National Grid.  I got my shower at uni today which helped.
They are going to pay us £30 per day compensation for the inconvenience, which considering I'm not out of pocket, makes the trouble more paletable.

Glad the rat is on the mend.

I spent all day at a convention of which I'm a volunteer (not atheist related) and now I'm really tired but also wound up because we had a few mini crisis issues right towards the end.  Overall it was a good day though; I enjoyed it more than I had expected.
