Ah, but they didn't waddle on them comically short legs all the way, you see! Them's swam most of the way. Good swimmers, penguins. Checkmate, Atheists. :smilenod:

In Asmo's grey lump,
wrath and dark clouds gather force.
Luxembourg trembles.

And don't forget they had to walk back afterwards and they really didn't need to get on in the first place!
If religions were TV channels atheism is turning the TV off.

Why would god create birds that can't fly?
Maybe one of his wonders.
Why do they waddle?
Some can't.

Yeah, back, they did waddle. The water was gone by then. Still, the ship was stuck on topa' mountain, and penguins are rounded creatures, so them's rolled downhill much of the way back. :smilenod:

And as for having to go... Well, it was the first ocean liner cruise in the world. Big event. Lotsa' complimentary booze service. :smilenod: Blood of Jesus and what else have you. :smilenod:

The Asmo could make a decent apologist, himthinks. :smilenod: At least His bullshit is entertaining.

A more believable interpretation would be- Caught up in the air, air = spirit, caught up in the spirit. No one is going anywhere.   :)
It's a psychological problem not a physical one.

The only thing possible the world needs saving from are the ones running it.
Oh lord, save us from those wanting to save us.
I'm not a Theist.

As good a place as any for this. The header news changes on some schedule. WTAF does
"There is also the shroud of turin, which verifies Jesus in a new way than other evidences." mean, in an atheistic, or any other sense?

Heh. The "News" items rotate on something like a random basis. To make the "News" feature something more than merely site info / admin contact info, I've included some striking quotes from some of our more illustrious members. Mostly believers who've come to beard the old lion in its den. Where "striking" is exceptionally silly and "illustrious" is bellicose. Or variations on that theme. I like to imagine that the repeated quiet appearance of these items will sort of fossilize then burnish them to a fine sheen. Thereby refuting the statement that you can't polish a turd.

That particular coprolite was salvaged from this post.

Damn. I even responded in that thread.  :-[

That quote really does belong in the dump pile, though. That poster deserves NO recognition. :smilenod:

It serves as recognition of a particularly ridiculous version of "evidence." Of course that doesn't stop believers from waving the fraudulent piece of cloth around as if it shows anything but their own credulity. To anybody who's spent more than a couple of minutes examining its provenance, the believers' reverence for it is risible. The "place of honor" as a News item is in fact a dunce stool.

I have to tell you, the intelligence level is pretty high here. I ain't no dummy, but the place is generally a cut above most discourse I see. I usually go low-brow, though, as it's in my roots.  :-[  I've outgrown a lot of it, though you'll see some of that brow, here and there.
