I've asked my brother to join on a couple of occasions, but he refuses. He confesses, as his reason for refusing to join, his inability to sustain a productive level of objectivity on the subject matter in light of his emotional investment in it. Unfortunately, I see that to be the case with all the theists (that I've encountered so far) who post here, eventually, regardless of intellect. Worse still, the intelligent ones, or more precisely, the ones with broader vocabularies disappoint me all the more as their civility tends to diminish in direct proportion to their disinteresedness, wheras the "dumb" theists seem to maintain a relatively constant level of civility, such as it may be in each case.

Theists are like Duck fans: There are some out there who are giving the rest of them a good name.

They just don't seem to be the ones that show up here.

I broke up with my girlfriend this weekend. So that's on my mind right now. I had to leave her, because things are not working out and I saw no way of them improving. Hmm... what else is on my mind apart from that? Positive things: I am looking forward to the weekend )) Need to do some last-minute Xmas shopping. I dont really believe in xmas and all, but have to get my parents and siblings some stuff.
