I wonder if my article will be approved by the editorial staff of the school paper.

First two days at college just done. Excellent fun, rather intense, very interesting. Probably going to keep me occupied but I'll probably only be around for a little while each day.

The downside of being an atheist anarchist teacher who is pro-choice, in favor of same-sex marriage and divorce. They are publishing it. The kids liked it. Did I mention I'm an atheist now? Lol.

Hubby landed job across country.

Cue massive move prep and me not being able to sleep for trying to list everything that has to be done from now to the inevitable move date of whenever.......

Excellent news!

Will you be able to transport all your preserves? Or will you have a yard sale?

Is it a less religiously zealous area?

Food comes with us though I am planning a massive yard sale in 2 weeks and will put out some of the extras that may take us longer than a year to consume.  I'm giving myself that long to declutter/dejunk.  Have each room scheduled for 2 days work time, with extra few days for misc crap.  Goal is to get enough crap out of here to reduce the load weight of final packing and hopefully raise enough extra cash to pay for a few repairs or even enough to put done on a non-falling apart vehicle.

I started the sewing room already since I couldn't sleep tonight.

Kinda, if you don't include my parents in the count  ;)
Headed for Richmond Virginia, well about an hour south anyway.  Parents are in Richmond.  Luckily I'm going to use that to my advantage and have them hunt down a living space for us.  Have my eye on an old farm house I'm planning on seeing if they will give it a once over and inspection for me before hubby even gets in town.  If it's good the price can not be beat and we may even be able to get a loan on it.
