No it's not.  Possession of films for which you haven't purchased the original is.

I believe it depends on the country somewhat, but as far as I know, here, it's the P2P bit that's the first illegal step. "Sharing of copy-protected media or parts thereof without proper autorisation" or some such.

In the USE you can download any copyrighted material for which you've purchased an original, provided that you only have one electronic copy and only one redundant copy burned.  In Canada, it's only illegal to upload.

Oh, I CAN download a safety copy. I can not, however, share it with others in theprocess - not legally.

Still, I don't think my country has enough laws to actually do something to those of us who disregard it. Me, I just protect the moneybags' rights to be moneybags.

Get a program called Tversity media server. Just connect your xbox to the network and you can then view any audio or video files through the network on your TV. It is very easy to use.

Only torrent video files which are close to, or more than a gigabyte in size. The quality will then be near perfect.

If you're going to do that, you can stream netflix.  IDK how it works with the Xbox, but the Wii has a built in streaming feature and so does the PS3.

As of right now, I have no food. Well not NO food, but no good food. Mostly ramen, and canned food.  :verysad:

drink water and only eat once a day until your next check.

it's your fault and it's part of growing up.

I've done shit like that with my money at the beginning of adulthood too.
