... you're all missing the big issue - how to get that song out of your head!
(it's making you waste your money on things you don't need ;-)

Here's a replacement song:

Quote from: "omfgzmariah"... How do you survive on 400 - 1000 a month?
Do you live with your parents?

A person can get by on that amount.  If you have no dependents and roommates, it's tight but workable.  In my case, however, there's no leftover money for "luxuries" like medical care.

Quote from: "Byronazriel"Also, my TV was not overpriced... It was reasonably priced at only 350 dollars, slightly used.  :bananacolor:

Everything that is non-essential, is overpriced when you pay more than a penny for it.  You can survive and thrive without your TV.

Your food on the other hand is priceless, you can never have enough food, and without it you will die.

When you get right down to it nothing is essential.

I made my choice when I spent my food money on the TV, knowing that it might lead to about a week without food. And at the very worst I'll go a week or so without food! I may not be a doctor, but it seems to me that I could easilly survive that long without food. I just don't want to, hence my problem.

I can always get more when my check comes in, and I've got enough food to last until the nineteenth. I just need a way to make at least eighty bucks by then.

That's how much a meat box, gasoline, and a 24 pack of diet soda costs.

Quote from: "Byronazriel"I have a fully functional, the salesman assured me of that, french longbow. Modeled after one from the hundred years war.

A French Longbow?
Is that a good choice?

Flat meat is road-kill, see The Simpsons Hit & Run.

Byronazriel

Bah, road kill isn't a very sporting way of getting meat.

I'm not a vulture, if I was a bird I'd be a kiwi... Or a cassowary, maybe a magpie, or a rook. Perhaps a roadrunner.  :hmm:

We are talking survival not sport. I grabbed a pheasant that got hit by the car in front of me, it was okay. I have cooked rabbits and hedgehogs when I was a kid and they are also fine.

Rabbits are good eatin.

I managed obtain several bags of tamales, cans of corned beef, a box of meat, and a bag of croissants.  :verysad:

The only thing I can think of is to move to California, and I don't have the money to do that... Also it would be far too hot, and earthquakey there.

Why aren't there more anime channels?  :hmm:

PoopShoot

Oh my fucking wah.  Firstly, you are complaining about food when you have a brand new television, premium Dish channels and 3 sodas a day.  Secondly, you think you're going to save money moving to Cali?  Wow.  It's not even the earthquakes, move to Sacramento or north of it (ANYWHERE north of it) and you don't have to worry about them.  Plus, if you're south of the mountains, you don't have to worry about volcanoes (considering Rainier caused enough quakes to get my Grandpa to move, this is ironic anyway).  Ridiculous.  I'll tell you a secret.  If you want really cheap living not too far from you, you don't even have to leave the state, just move to Plymouth, Benton County.
All hail Cancer Jesus!

Byronazriel

I don't have a new TV, it hasn't come in yet.

Moving to California was for the anime, you can't get much cheaper than 150$ a month plus TIP.
