Quote from: "KDbeads"I hate taking Schroeder to the vet.  Of all the dogs here, he is the biggest wuss when it comes to the vet.  I have to bring drool and pee towels with me and today we forgot the mussel until after he tried to bite the vet  :shake:   58 pound dog peeing himself while getting his shots.  What a wimp.  And then it takes me and the vet tech both to hold him down long enough for two cysts to be looked at by the vet, declared immediately removable, and subsequently removed before they caused him any trouble (like rupturing or tearing open or getting infected of a host of other bad things that happened to him BEFORE we rescued him), then came the staples to close up one of the holes....... Yes I get to watch and participate with all these procedures, it's totally awesome.

You'd think we were killing the dog with the fighting and baying and growling and howling going on today and we do this every about 6 months for his many cysts, lumps, bumps and skin tags.........
I feel your humiliation. Daisy used to spontaneously leak from all orifices at the vets. Rusty couldn't give a shit. Heart rate as solid as rock even while having a jab. Sally was ok and we have yet to have had the vet experience with Katie but I think she'll be fine.

Yeah I'd rather take my dane mix who has panic attacks while there or the basset who whines and yips the entire time rather than taking him.  He is just......  not sure there is a good word or phrase that says it well enough.  It's not that I'm embarrassed....  He's just a ton of work while we are there, I'm one of those hands on owners and I jump in when anything is needed so they don't have to bring in the other tech who could be doing something else or the little guy that normally helps wrangle the bulls and horses into submission because he's always busy and has his hands full.  Most of the time there isn't even a tech helping with my animals since they know I know my stuff well enough to be left to it and trusted!

I'm smoking a rack of ribs tonight. I do baby backs. I'll use a combination of mesquite and hickory wood. Got my dry rub ingredients all sorted and I'll use my home-made BBQ sauce. I put the sauce on at the last minute, it gives the ribs a nice glaze.

Hey, this thread is quite large.

I just got off work and my eyes hurt.
My car hurt my right kidney last night. Do they bruise?

Yes they do but continual kidney pain or blood in the urine is an instant trip to casualty for a check up!

Are you still suffering from relationship difficulties with your ex-student?
My wife decided to move back back in. So I dropped anything related to my ex-student that might jeopardize the current status of my marriage. Thanks to your advices. :)  Storm is gone.
