I'm addicted to Vanguard..... I'm not sure if any of you have seen it on Current tv/Hulu.

Just watched a very good doc on the anti-homosexual legislation that has been drafted in Uganda. Very scary stuff, and I thought Prop 8 was bad.
Eyes off my sig weirdo.

Was that the Dispatches programme that went around with some gay guys and met preachers and the like?

The program is called "Missionaries of Hate".. It basically documents the period after several American evangelical preachers visited the country preaching on the evils of homosexuality. After which several high ranking officials and christian leaders in Uganda join together to draft a proposition to ban homosexuality in their country. Punishable by life in prison and even death.

Here is the Hulu link.....although it might not work in the UK (I just got back from the Netherlands where hulu is blocked).

I'm going camping at the ocean tomorrow!  My sweetie face hasn't seen the west coast ocean yet, so I'm taking him to Westport.  I'm super excited!   :yay:  :yay:

I've never been to the beach in CA, but I'm planning a roadtrip along the coast, hwy 101, from WA to CA for me and the fam.  I don't know if we'll do it this year, but that'd be my bread and butter, man.

PCH (pacific coast highway) is awesome in between SF and LA... I'd think you'd want to get of the 101 at that point.

Yeah, I started reading up on the Pacific Coast Highway today, it looks awesome.  I'm really excited to visit the town where they filmed Hitchcock's The Birds.  =D

Just be carefull it's supposed to be one of the most dangerous roads n the country. What with the blind curves and people paying more attention to the view then the road. Trully a beautifull route though.

More pickles......... 5 quarts and 2 pints of bread and butter pickles (cucumbers this time)  And 3 quarts, 2 pints, 2 half pints and half of a quart jar tea glass (this one's going in the fridge) of gardinere.  One of those Chicagoland condiments I decided to try my hand at now that we've been gone from there long enough to miss some of the foods.  Though I didn't put in the oil for canning, that will be added as they are opened.

At least we will have pickles if we go broke :yay:
