Cecile.

I just looked at Bergen on Goolge Maps. It must be beautiful but is there any thing to do there?
If religions were TV channels atheism is turning the TV off.

Nothing really I was more interested in finding out what one could do in Bergen. Museums, library, sports? Is there a lot to do?

Yes, there are museums and libraries and the biggest sport is football. There's also an aquarium with fishes and reptiles and penguins (they also recently had a shark tank put in). Lots of mountains if you like hiking (you don't have to walk up, if you're only interested in the beautiful view). There's 'Torget' (the fish marked) where a lot of people buy fish, shellfish, berries, fruit, flowers and souveneirs (lots of tourists go there). If you like classical music you can visit 'Trollhaugen' where Edvard Grieg used to live. And also the usual stuff like shopping and restaurants. There are also places to see. Like 'Bryggen' and 'Gamlehaugen' and 'Gamle Bergen' (Old Bergen).

Here's a link: http://wikitravel.org/en/Bergen

EDIT: Oh, and 'Den Nationale Scene' which is a theatre.
The world's what you create.

"i want what He wants for my life
i followed His leading here and have been since and everything is working out perfectly thus far
as for all of my emoness etc. that was dealt with a few weeks ago at church during a crazy prayer session when all sorts of gross things that were affecting me left and didnt have power anymore
who am i. a royal son of God , JC's little brother, anything i need will come to me, anything i want i have to work for
what am i going to do, art, music, writing and ministry, those are what i am going to focus on
anything else is taking the back seat"

@elliebean, that's the bleak part. He should already know this isn't going to work. His elder brother married a girl in the UK he'd known for 2months before the marriage itself and she ended up cheating on him. Wtf
What makes it worse is that the current pair asked their pastor about it and he asked them if they had God's permission and if they were in love. They replied yes to both questions so he gave it his go-ahead. How stupid, retarded, and socially irresponsible!? Argh!

@KDbeads, it does sound a bit like that. Like a sort of pesticide exorcism.

I'm feeling so tired about religion at the moment. It's exhausting and so obviously stupid. I wish everyone would just stop believing in God and get on with their lives already. I wish every political leader would outlaw religion in their respective countries. I want atheism to be obsolete and unnecessary already. </jaded rant over... for now>
