Going on holiday tomorrow for a week in Falmouth in Cornwall. The bottom South West tip of England. Looking forward to it as I haven't been there since I was a kid. Weather is looking good. Bit of a trek though, 9 'ish hours including stops! Going to the Eden centre one day, The Lizard another and Newkey where the surfers are, although I won't be doing any surfing  :)

After much deliberation and spreadsheeting, I have determined that I think British Petroleum stock has a net present value of $41.90. Now I am in the interesting position of hoping there will be more bad oil spill news to get the price there so I can buy it. I am a monster.

Edit: well crap, glad I cancelled that one.

I'm thinking that I should've gotten my mom a present for her birthday. Other than love of course.  :D

Think I'm finally happy with my avatar image and signature. Have been changing it a lot lately. Though only time will tell...  :)

Yes there is, it's just rather small at the moment, it's you! But there will be other atheists in your area. Is there a country wide forum? If so go and shout out there and you could well find some other people in your area.

Trying my hand at mattar paneer today.  Wish me luck!  Also, tonight I'm going into the city (Seattle) to do some training so I can help out with a new local atheist TV show.  I am so nervous, my social anxiety is raging!  So...wish me luck again!   :eek2:

Good luck. But from what I've read from you, you should do just fine.
Always question all authorities because the authority you don't question is the most dangerous... except me, never question me.

I found a norwegian atheist forum. Well, sort of. It's on a religious forum. And there's a link that says Atheism: Finally a place where atheism gets their asses kicked. (On a lack of better words)
I'm not really sure if it's a joke or not, but there are real atheists on there. However it's not very active. The last post was in April.
So, not any good forums.

Spent a few hours on the rocks at the beach hunting through the pools, found 5 different types of crab, starfish, two brittle stars (which I have never seen in a rock pool before), a tiny sea urchin and a type of segmented worm like multi-legged creature that I have never seen before and have no idea what it is (pictures to follow).
