^ That was a lovely post  :)

I just read this topic, viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2612 (God is not conscious), as "God is not couscous." hahaha! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Couscous

1:30am and this

Quote from: "pinkocommie"I don't think your analogy works.  Water is a physical thing.  Consciousness is a concept.  The model of the water is still a model of a physical thing which can be quantified.  Consciousness is not quantifiable in any form.  A model of your idea of consciousness doesn't make the concept of consciousness any more quantifiable.

just made my brain implode.

I'm probably not making any sense by now.  I don't even remember what the point of the conversation is anymore in that thread, to be honest.  I should probably just stop talking.   :(

I did. I think the game is to see how long we'll keep at it without ever making any sense. We should just start posting complete nonsense in that thread and see if she catches on.

Yup, God is high in protein.  I like my God with tomatoes and cheese.

So I lost my wallet a bit ago and with it my I.D. When I went to the D.M.V. with my birth certificate to try and get some new i.d. I found out it was the wrong kind of birth certificate.
They gave me a website to order the right kind of B.C. I spend 20 minutes filling out forms, make my order, pay my cash then I got a message with more forms for me to fill out including a space for a copy of a photo I.D. The Photo id that I need a new birth certificate to get in the first place. What a rediculas catch 22

Dysphoria. It sucks.  :(

I've been able to live with it relatively happily thus far, with the hope that I might eventually be able to do what's necessary to change what needs changing to reconcile my outward presentation to my identity, but it turns out those measures will probably endanger my life. So I may be forced to choose between an unwanted life with no hope of improvement, or potentially no life at all. Misery or nonexistence. What a waste of having been born.

I could go back on antidepressives, immerse myself in apathy, and continue with the charade that is my public life, but that would even farther remove me from the vibrant, enthusiastic, caring, imaginitive, creative person I know I am inside. I would be less me. A lot less. I would be no one and nothing. A hollow shell. From experience I know that I'm not a pleasant person to be around or to know, while in that state. I would lose all empathy, which is one of the reasons I took myself off meds in the first place.

And for all I know the combination with my current medications could be as bad for me as everything else.

Apparently there's a strict limit to how much of me can exist in the world at a time, which happens to be far below my potential.

Maybe I'm wrong and there are options I'm not yet aware of. All I can do is keep searching and hoping.

Just went on a trip to visit the local community college. It was an all day field trip and a welcome relief from classes. It was an interesting visit, but I'm pretty sure I won't be going there for college, they had no software or programming courses!

Dude, I quit smoking 2 days ago so I know how you feel.  I'm doing a lot of deep breathing exercises and I keep waiting for something to happen after I eat since I'm used to smoking.  I'm chewing gum but I've bitten my lip like 5 times and I'm getting annoyed.  I hope you stick with it though!  Quitting sucks but it's better than smoking, right?

yeah waiting for something to happen after I eat and with my first cup of joe in the morning....it's sort of disgusting how much my life revolved around smoking....EVERYTHING MAKES ME WANNA SMOKE!
