Not that I care about golf, but I heard our fans were real assholes during that event. As is often the case these days...sorry. Not all of us suck this much.

for the first time in my life i have high speed internet. the cable was hung a few months ago, and this morning the installer hooked us in.

i started out with old copper telephone wires out here for dial up access, and a five minute youtube video took about an hour to load. email and such would time out before they finished loading, and installing any utility application could take a full day.

our satellite systems still stall out if there is an image to load, and sometimes we would still just give up trying to read the news.

but now we re connected to a hard line again, but its a fibre. so we ll see how it works.

so far its definitely faster, with screens loading instantly, as in a blink, rather than gradually with a throbber.

stay tuned, i guess. i still have a satellite system down at th e warehouse to compare to.

Just be happy.
