The Magic Pudding..

#17070
The subject for today is mice.
Daughter brings her little dogs when she visits, they know.

Soundtrack is Beatles Blue compilation.

I don't enjoy being cruel, or maybe I do when I get started.
I'd be happy making an arrangement with the local mice rep, I'd toss them food, provide some shelter some distance from my abode, everyone could live happy.

It is my experience mice don't listen to reason.

The flappy thing on the bottom of the front door wasn't doing its job.
I think I heard that many people get bit by snakes in their own homes.
With plasticine porters with looking glass ties
I pull stuff out of a cupboard with mice in it, take it outside, I squash one with the 2002 Master Tax Guide, a couple escape, a kookaburra swoops in and takes one heading for my garage, thank you brother.
Bought some traps, cheap ones.
I've had success with just bread before.
Wife: when I... peanut butter.
It isn't just men that splain, I know about peanut butter.
Four thousand holes in  Blackburn Lancashire
Traps (6) not successful for some hours, apply peanut butter.
Books in the bin, including the 2002 Master Tax Guide and an old fishing book I might have consulted, some day.
I am hearing things all day
They got into my hard drive draw and shitted and pissed.
See how they smile like pigs in a sty, see how they snide.
Off to the close by shop for some rat bait.
I looked in that box.
Look in it again, two mice, off to the laundry tub for some squashing.
Ah Ha! a trap has got one.
I haven't got them all yet.
Dying to take you away, take you today

what kind of mice? are these placental type mice or are they one of those weird pouchy things?

i have a long and intimate history with mice.

The Magic Pudding..

With granddaughter arriving my family has increased by 25% this year.
If this rate of increase is maintained my family will surpass the current population of China in less than 120 years, the world's in 126 years.

I wonder how long before there's more puddings than atoms in the universe...
If you suffer from cosmic vertigo, don't look.

I don't know, I did inspect one of the two, to see if there was a pouch, I think what I saw was a penis, I name him Bruno.  Of the two mice I squashed good and properly only one was still there the next day, I didn't inspect it before I tossed it.  I don't know if I'm being mocked by a resurrected Jesus mouse or a Bruno mouse

If the size of your family is to surpass the population of this world, which world would they live on then? ;)

In Asmo's grey lump,
wrath and dark clouds gather force.
Luxembourg trembles.

The Magic Pudding..

A person on the radio is talking to a vinyl record enthusiast, particularly about cover art.
They keep mentioning 33 as the size in centimetres of an album, very strange.

Dark Lightning

Two doctor visits today. GP for adjustments to allergy and asthma medication. Then cryocautery (with the attendant first and second degree burns) of a dozen actinic keratoses. We knew about the sun's powers by the time we had kids, but I got burnt many times as a kid. Then off to orthopedics for a third visit concerning my right ring finger. Now at least I'm going to get an MRI. The lump could be an aggravated nerve or something else. The something else is not cancer, but they want to make sure it's not the nerve before taking a knife to it.

You'd need a big turntable to play one of those.

This one was fun, a chat about Gilgamesh and Enkidu
https://www.abc.net.au/listen/programs/conversations/louise-pryke-epic-of-gilgamesh/103022780

The day before.
A woman born one of eight to catholic parents
There was  inappropriateness, she left home at 15, giving birth at 16.
Government funded persons encourage her to get educated
She does high school goes to university and studies demography,
Achieves a PhD, her children attend the award ceremony.

She is a renter without hope of owning, she resents the "bank of Mum and Dad", this is assistance given by parents to their children.
Why do they have that security and not her? it just isn't fair.

Why am I mere a pudding and not Prince Pudding?
It just isn't fair

Just noticed this one. I approve. :smilenod:

It's also true though, with regard to the actual -ism. Well, except it's not so much the Big Small what does it, but rather the Big Fat pretending to be the Big Small.
