The Magic Pudding..

Quote from: Asmodean on November 17, 2023, 01:16:14 PMRelease the CPU retainer clip before applying violence to the heat sink. :smilenod:

The retainer clip isn't easy to get at when there's a chunky heat sink atop of it.
I will endeavour to do so next time.

Yes, I suppose that's a potential issue. I've been using liquid coolers for a while now, and those are quite a bit smaller in the heat sink department than the 120/140mm fan radiators.

I do know that some fan assemblies are supposed to be disassembled before un-mounting, though I think that only applies to specific products and may not even help better reach the clip.

Nice!

If you don't mind, how much is this place these days?

The Magic Pudding..

Monday start work at 8:30
Proper pot of tea at 10:30 with carrot cake I made with macadamias and macadamia oil.
Get my sandwich out of the fridge at 12 so it's ready for 1pm lunch.
After lunch I'm gathered up to join a coworkers 50th birthday celebration.
It's a small work place, 12 people maybe.
There's cake and pizza, but I just had lunch, but it's a birthday, I'm compelled to consume.
The cake is left untouched and ends up in the fridge.
Birthday boy gets a picture of a motor bike and a big bottle of Scotch.
He says the bike is a Harley fat boy, questions the prescence of a snide aspersion.
Always a funny fellow.
Happy birthday to you
Hip hip hooray!
You won't be in tommorow says someone, in reference to the big bottle of Scotch.
"I'll be in, worse for wear maybe, but I'll be in"

He doesn't come in Tuesday morning, inconvenient, someone has to do some resceduling.
Proper pot of tea at 10:30 with carrot cake I made with macadamias and macadamia oil.
12:55 Ominous overheard phone conversation
2pm back from lunch, he's killed himself.

Someone will have to deal with that birthday cake.

Wednesday
Wake at 6:15, on the water by 7.
Scoot along the North Wall
There's a Big shell, must have, and another, end up with three big shells, very weird.
Reversing back into deep water and hear an exhallation, or/and an inhallation
Hello dolphin.
Home at 10
Grandaugher (4.5months) arrives at 10:30, have her until 3:30.
She doesn't laugh yet but she does these loud squealy joyful noises.
Her smiles, I prefer quietude but I'm compelled to perform absurdities to earn another, and another.

If you suffer from cosmic vertigo, don't look.

Rather a mixed bag.  :-\

The violence done not only to self but on the lives of others, mostly family.  :sadnod:

But grandsprogs bring some light. Usually.  :)
