Dusted off Shadow of the Colossus last night. Had been listening to the soundtrack at work and forgot how amazing the game is. Also forgot how damn hard it can be to control Agro.

OH BIOSHOCK. I keep forgetting I have that. My friend lent it to me all 'this is awesome, you will play this or I will put spiders in your bed, ok? ok' so that's how I got Bioshock. But I keep forgetting to play it ajdgbeyabs I'm only at the part where I take pictures for that paranoid door guy.

bioshock really is an amazing game.  i am very excited for the sequel.

I know! Whoever does their marketing must be a gamer. How else would they know to release a teaser, then a couple minutes of gameplay, just enough to get every bioshock fanboy (me) all worked up MONTHS in advance so that second that it is available for pre-order, they will have sold millions of copies!

I forgot to ask... is he horde or alliance?

He is alliance.
I spoke to him this weekend. A few things have gone pear-shaped in his guild and he has taken his raiding character (the guild leader) to another server to join the worlds best (most g33k) guild. He still has 4 other characters on runetotem but he isn't sure if his guild will last much longer (a lot of people were pretty pissed off he left) but he certainly no longer has any power within the ranks.

It is worth creating a character on runetotem because i'm sure he'd still be able to get you into a good guild with all the people i used to play with. You might not see my mate much as he'll be raiding with his uber guild on another server a lot of the time now.

News on all the guild stuff... the guy in charge came on last night and said he's pretty sure the guild will be breaking up.  His 2IC and 3IC did nothing while he was offline for a few days AND 5 or 6 people left the guild AND no one wants to step up and organize raids, etc.  He doesn't have time to do it all.  So I guess I'll be getting back all the gold and stuff I put into the guild bank and I'll be more discriminating in joining a new guild.

Karadan... the only thing that keeps me from going to a new server is that the hubby is making gold hand over fist (selling leather and ore in the auction house) and I'd be cut off from my sugar daddy.  LOL!  I'd actually have to WORK to get gold!  Quel horror!  

We'll see what happens.

I also own a PS3, but I use it mostly for playing old PS and PS2 games, as well as being my go-to media player (I stream via TVersity--on the fly encoding, couldn't be nicer).

KotOR is one of my favorite games of all time, but I only think of it as such when someone mentions it. It's so damn good. Too easy to cheat, though. Too temping to cheat because it's so easy. Fantastic game. I have a hard time saying which I enjoy more: a solo bout of KotOR or a nice game of multiplayer Capture the Skull on original Halo using nothing but rocket launchers.

Good times. Good times.

Wow. Original Halo was ace. I used to play that all the time.

Strangely enough, i never got into 2 and i doubt i'll ever play 3.

I assume you own Kotor for the PC? I have Kotor II for the PC just so I could cheat. It's always fun to have a lightsaber in the first level, or have maxed out force powers right in the beginning to absolutely devastate enemies. I own both games for the Xbox so I can play fair when I please. Too much cheating ruins the game.

As far as the rest of the game, I couldn't agree more. Who could forget the amazing twist that left our jaws hanging? Who could forget the EPIC battle with Malak? So much fun...

As for Halo, I liked the first and the second one. The third one was just lame in my honest opinion. I thought the story was just weak and a replica of the previous games. The first one is where it's at.
