Kitty and Misty...in a rare moment of harmony.

Kitty is the older of the two.  Misty has the pink collar (on the right).

Thanks again for all the great suggestions on how to get Kitty to take her meds.

Hope your cat gets better. Does it look anything like this?  ;)
(picture links to page with all sorts of funny cat pics for you cat lovers, Kylyssa, I'm lookin' at you.)

Damn you, Ihateyoumike for linking to LOLcats!  I just lost an hour of my life engaged in insipid cooing over small furry mammals.

You know, it's a shame that "damn you" doesn't mean anything, it sounds so impressive.

I did the same thing yesterday. I've seen those cat pictures all over the web, but hadn't seen them all in one place until yesterday. Some of them had me laughing hard. Why do cats make the funniest picture subjects?  :)

BTW, this is my favorite one from that site:

I'm thinking I can't wait until the 26th of this month. My older brother bought a couple tickets for he and I to go see Blue October perform in Portland, OR. I've actually never been to a real concert before, and this is probably my favorite band, so I'm extremely excited.

Cool on the McMenamins concert!  I haven't heard of them before... are they local?

We've got tickets for 4/19 for the Unwigged and Unplugged tour with Michael McKean, Harry Shearer, and Christopher Guest doing songs from "A Mighty Wind" and "Spinal Tap"!  Course, the babysitter will cost us more than the tickets but it's so worth it!  We could watch "A Mighty Wind" every day and be very very happy.   :D

No, they're from Texas, I believe.

That sounds like fun. I love Christopher Guest's movies. I think my favorite was Waiting For Guffmann though, that one was hilarious.

Strange... out of all of them, Guffman was my least favorite.  I absolutely love Best in Show as well.  And I was shocked when we put on Spinal Tap a few weeks ago... it wasn't nearly as amusing as I remembered it being.  Or maybe it was the lack of alcohol this time around... Hmmm...

Today I'm wishing that more Dallas neighborhoods required rock yards rather than grass so I wouldn't have to put out fertilizer (weed & feed) in the wind and then sit silently hoping for rain.  I'm also thinking about how the housing market better pick up so I can unload my house in Summer 2010 when my baby leaves for college. Today, I am thinking about how I got an A on a paper that I had to write in my Religous Studies class. I spent all night, about six hours, on the day before it was due, and I completely rushed it. We had to write about our own family reglious background and what/why you believe in what you believe in. I wrote a 13 page paper on Buddhism and Atheism and pulled off an A! Woo Hoo!!!

I'm thinking about how I'm going to manage an orgy, a birthday party, and a polyamory meet and greet all in one day.

Kylyssa

Did I kill this thread?

Anyway, the answer to my quandary was to reschedule the poly meeting and shift the times of the orgy and the birthday party.

I'll be making a beer can cake for the birthday party so that should be fun.  Hopefully I can find some gold luster dust to create a metallic sheen.

MariaEvri

you can put the orgy IN the party :P
anyway now Im thinking of christians who say the accept what evolution tells the,. IM wondering.. when did the soul enter the humans ? when we first appeared as homo sapiens? when we were still in our "ape-like" state?
