Sorry to hear everyone's feeling so shitty. I've been under the weather myself recently. I hope you all fully recover. I'll say a prayer for you all.  :D

A son of a bishop from the southernmost part of the country have accumulated internet gambling debt of about 12 million dollars. The bishop and his wife gave payback guarantees for at least 6 mill. Now they are so bankrupt that they will still have to pay off the debt after they go to their so-called heaven.

So much for having a happy afterlife, eh?  :raised:

Hubby found out a friend of his has lung cancer today. This makes the second person we've known with it not caused from smoking.

rlrose328

Oh my... that's horrible!!!  Is it from second-hand smoke or genetically based?  That's just... wow.   :(

My maternal grandmother had emphysema and the early signs of lung cancer before she died of other causes. She never smoked a day in her life, but lived with a man who smoked three packs of Kool non-filters a day for over 75 years. He, incidentally, died at the ripe old age of 90 of prostate cancer and his lungs were clean. Life is unfair. Another reason we believe what we believe.

My mom was one of them,no one else in the family had any breathing problems before her so I'm not sure. The other one is a good friend of hubbys. He doesn't smoke and doesn't live with a smoker. So not sure what caused it.He's lived a really clean life he doesn't even drink,no coffee either.Worse thing is that he had gone in five months ago for problems with a lump on his finger. That turned out to be cancer, but they cut off the growth. He said they took chest x-rays but they never checked them.So they could have found the cancer earlier.Stuff like that seems to be pretty common around here, with things not being looked at.And hubby found out tonight his Uncle has a growth on his back, the doctor thinks it's skin cancer.Seems like everyone I know is having major health problems.

Yeah getting depressed because we have so many in our family and friends having issues with cancer now.I'm 30 and two months before my b-day I went thru a bad cancer scare.I had a large tumor and had surgery to remove it,was 6 weeks before I found out it was wasn't cancer. Now I have to worry about tumors and a cyst on my spleen.Had surgery in March to remove the rumor and now it's back. Was 4cm in March now I have one that 9 cm and 5 others. If they don't go away within a year I have to have my spleen removed. It's gentic on my dad's side we just found out.Mostly for women ovarian cancer and skin. And he smokes 4 packs a day has since he was 13 now he's 62..And he keeps saying he wont make it thru the year.He has COPD with asthma and heart problems.I'm not sure if he's having mental issues because he called earlier and told me to come to town.Had me sign paperwork for insurance and his plot.Alittle razzled went thru major depression with mom's passing. If I didn't believe in God before I never would  have now.I I don't mean to rattle on just having issues now. We've had 5 family and friends die in the past year.Oh yes I've mentioned my surgery before have 70 stitches but was lucky has it mostly internal I'm adding pictures. With surgery and my knee and hip problems caused by surgery. There are major problems in Indiana with the medical system I am one of a few with unread files.I went a month without blood test being read and found out my potassium was below normal I could have had a heart attack instead I have muscle weakness and other issues because I went so long without treatment. Now we have a friend who could die because his test results weren't read earlier.I'm going to start a petition online for better medical in indiana. If anyone knows about petitions I could use the help.If you want further info on my surgery and problems I had afterwards please email me.I will send picutres or detais.

My mom's lung cancer was not caused by smoking too. I'm from an area where an unusual amount of people get cancer...so I kinda wonder what's going on sometimes. Something in the air? Water? soil? food? Hrm....

Sorry to hear about your husband's friend, do send my condolences. All that stuff really sucks - but I wish him the best. And I hope his Uncle's cancer is benign.
