If any of my input was taken as fire-fanning, I'll just add that I've given my views and am officially tapping out.
I've moved on to mankini's now.

The universe is a cold, uncaring void. The key to happiness isn't a search for meaning, it's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually you'll be dead!

Far too many people at each other's throats around here lately. And if that's not rant-worthy, I don't know what is.  >:(
It's alright for you! You haven't got a throat  ;)

I'd like to rant about the mankinis.  Wouldn't that just be a man wearing the bottom half of an ordinary bikini, so what the point of it having to go around the shoulders?  Isn't a speedo already a mankini?  Isn't a jock strap already a less fancy string bikini?  Both those garments stay in place just fine without having to depend from something.  The mankini is completely pointless and illogical!!  Bring back the banana hammock!

What...um....intrigues me.....about the mankini is that it leaves the hips and sides completely bare.  All in all I would say it's a horrible look, but the bare hips do catch the eye, I think because I don't know of another men's garment that bares that region of the body.  All told though, I do prefer a man in (at least) knee length shorts.

But you have to admit, the top-hats do add a certain element of class.
"We've thought of life by analogy with a journey, with pilgrimage which had a serious purpose at the end, and the THING was to get to that end; success, or whatever it is, or maybe heaven after you're dead. But, we missed the point the whole way along; It was a musical thing and you were supposed to sing, or dance, while the music was being played.

Yes, but they'd do that no matter what costume the men were wearing.  Altho for total awesomeness, they'd need to be wearing tricorn hats.
