"Security camera clips that make the news usually show bad things, but Coke decided to 'look at the world a little differently' in this heartwarming viral video. They found security camera footage from around the world showing happy moments: people stealing kisses instead of possessions, dealing potato chips instead of drugs, and offering car assistance rather than road rage."

Thanks Coca-Cola for convincing us that loss of privacy is heartwarming.

But maybe I'm just being extra curmudgeonly today. :P

Coke were already at this game 40 years ago with the I'd like to buy the World a Coke advert.

Speaking as a guy who has seen a LOT of security footage it is refreshing to see some nice things.

Yeah, I'm a sucker for this stuff too.

They can start with me, if they wish. They have enough money to buy plenty of people a coke ;D

I would be much happier if the company that did this was the kashi corporation. The coke sales are gonna go through the roof, but I find the drink too sugary. Ah, but what the heck, corporations make the world go round! Of corset, its a sad fact of life that any place with a file bottling plant is a place you don't want to be.

Funny. If I had a choice of dark sodas I'd choose Pepsi. But I thought it was nice seeing positive things rather than a double homicide case on FOX...yay FOX

There's a Pepsi bottling plant in Newfoundland so, of course, every true Newfoundlander is loyal to the good ol' "Pipsay" brand.

Buddy

I must be strange, because I have no brand loyalty. My soda preferences change from week to week.

There's a coke factory near where I live, and during the few times drive by it I contemplate full out invasion and sacking.

okay, so maybe not so loyal, truth is I'd also take the traditional coke anyday ;D

Why would one be opposed to security cameras in public locations? Are people so ashamed of what they do there that they don't want any one to ever see it?

Want real privacy? Get a sound studio with internal power generation, wrap it in layers of Faraday mesh and live there, is what Asmo says.

I'm not opposed to security cameras in public, because I think they do more good than harm, but I don't exactly revel in them either.
