Don't have time to tell you about myself.

True or false maybe ?

"Chapter XX.—Some Parts of the Old Testament Written to Try Us

Wherefore every man who wishes to be saved must become, as the Teacher said, a judge of the books written to try us. For thus He spake: 'Become experienced bankers.' Now the need of bankers arises from the circumstance that the spurious is mixed up with the genuine."

Probably wouldn't have been worth the time anyway.  ;D

Indeed, a gibbering loony if ever I saw one.  But what is he actually trying to tell us?  Bankers in the Bible?

'Reading' (and I use the term lightly) his posts I think that he has found something new or old that changes the way the Bible interprets itself.

Now I have to become a banker to become close with god? If anything, I would think being a banker would make it much harder for a person to get into heaven.

I also took the liberty to fix his typo for him. I think he meant to say.

It's probably an error in the translation, probably meant to be bakers.
There's a need for good bakers.

There does seem to be a slight bread obsession in the bible.

Speaking of bread and the bible. I recently bought Ezekiel 4:9 bread from the grocer.

They did make some good bread. It's a bit dry though, so I had to put mayo on both slices to make it moist enough.

Yes they did force me to seek for satisfaction within the unholy jar of condiment.
And so I righteously did smite them, used their daughters and later in righteous righteousness sold them as soiled in recompense.
