But man, oh man, one time I had youtube pulled up and I was watching the video for her song, "Oasis"... a religious family member walked quietly up behind me, watched it too, and when it was done he freaked out.  ;)

My brother suggested these to me, esp. the first one, Little Water Song.  I'm not really sure how I feel about this song -- part of me really likes it (I used to have mermaid fantasies as a child) and part of me thinks the singer needs to check her meds.

Lately I've been getting in to dubstep.  Just bought a few songs from itunes.  Pretty good.  Seems I like the Skrillex song "Gettin It" best out of the bunch.

I like bassy industrial sounding electronica lately.  :)

Don't get me started on the state of what happened to dubstep, I go from a 20 something year old to an old man in the blink of an eye. A form of music that had loads of potential and became shit with Skrillex being the worst offender.

I'm a traditional metalist, so possibly likely to take an anti-dubstep stance, but I'm quite enjoying some of the harder modern music like Skrilex. I like it because it's meaty and hard and has an industrial feel. I've also been listening to Deadmau5 for a couple of years, that does it for me too. If you know of any other stuff like this I'd happily take some recommendations.

Haha I know, doesn't everything? But hey that was when I was in uni so I like to keep the rose tinted spectacles on and preach about the good old days. I haven't really listened to much dubstep in a good while but I still listen to Burial and Zomby from time to time, but here are a few that I remember [1][2][3][4][5][6][6][7][8][9]. I could dig out my old hard drive which is full of the stuff but I cant be bothered as it took long enough to find those tracks.

I just bought The Division Bell by Pink Floyd, their last album. Figured I'd complete the collection :) Not bad so far, though not terribly different from their previous endeavors either. But I still think they're amazing.
